What you should know about this location:
Peterson Farms is an 80 acre privately owned wildlife conservation effort. This land is available to Southern Minnesota NAVHDA members thanks to the generosity of the property owner. This makes it much easier to reschedule training dates or add additional dates when necessary. This group uses email notifications from the site coordinator to keep members informed of scheduling changes and other information. If you would like to be added to the email notification list for this site simply send an email to Kris Dutton, Site Coordinator requesting so. (See contact information at the top of this page).
Only about half the land at this location is used for training, the other half is wildlife habitat. The property has a small pond accessable from all sides that works well for introductory marked and blind retrieve work. The ponds can be muddy but there is a water hydrant in the yard to wash your dog before you leave.
